RUDE Attitude Making Situation WORSE!
I am now getting frustrated with Sanlam! WE have had unit trusts with them for now just over 10 years, and when they were initially opened it was done so in my stepson's name. My husband wanted to change that as these were our savings, and we did all the necessary paperwork. We missed a part about the banking details, which caused Sanlam to cancel the debit order (instead of perhaps CHECKING WITH THE CLIENT first - especially since the whole section was not filled out) it would of taken a simple call. I have managed to email and vent my frsutrations with Sanlam only to receive a snotty, rude email from Consultant at the Call Centre called Coenita Rabe - who is only making my anger at Sanlam reach boiling point! Her attitude about ASSUMPTIONS should not be made, yet clearly SANLAM assumed that because the debit order details were missed completely, to ASSUME to cancel the debit order. Really Sanlam - you have an unhappy client, why add fuel to the fire. Perhaps we should cancel these unit trusts completely and move them to a company who wants to keep their clients happy!
