REVISIT CRAF RULES SANLAM !!!
So, some very clever people at Sanlam CRAF decided to put a ceiling value of R 75 000 on a commutation of a retirement policy. WHY ??? How come anyone else out there can have control over MY MONEY ? I simply have no choice ... !!! Sanlam "took a chance" and will pay me until death (minimum of 10 years) a monthly amount. The value of my money in their wallet is R 102 000. Should I live the 10 years, they would have paid me approx R 60 000 ... I SUPPOSE THEY SIMPLY ***** THE REST (LEGALLY) ??? I want the total amount to be paid out to me NOW, the silly monthly pay-out is worthless.
