Refusal to pay claim

I have had this policy for about ten years. I am the main policyholder with my husband as the beneficiary. I got divorced last year in April. My ex-husband died in March 2015 and I lodged a claim for his death. The company, Safrican-mapp refuses to honour the claim and pay out. I am still paying for the policy and my ex-husband was still the main beneficiary. I also lodged two claims with Sanlam and they paid out within 48 hours, without refusing because we were divorced.
