RA funds gone “MISSING”

I currently have a RA with Sanlam Life and left my previous employer and then requested to move my accumulated RA finds to Sanlam. The other insurance company did the transfer of funds to Sanlam in December.

Sanlam now tells me they do not have my money and won’t. They are refusing to give me call recordings telling me the banking details and reference number I should use in the forms. One agent confirmed that the banking details are correct for Sanlam but they are not allocating my funds as they do not see them even after I gave them POP. Three months later

Hi There, my ID number is ***.

I have written long emails and complaint but no one is responding. I get emails starting they can’t give me call recordings - this is because one agent said, you as Sanlam have not given me banking details and references for my funds. The calls proves this information and now I can’t get recordings?

Also I provided POP and SARS is requesting the ROT which needs to be signed by Sanlam and they have stated that Sanlam and I are late in submission already. Sanlam just sent me an email stating they will now finalise the request by April. No reasons stating why and the call centre is busy and not answering my calls this morning.

I am frustrated!
