Provident Fund Withdrawal waiting time is ridiculously long

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to resign from my previous company. Resignation was beginning of April, my previous place of work only handed in my claim on the 7th of May. Apart from that bull story, what I am the most upset about is having to wait now another 2 months before I can get which is legally my money. What really gets me is that no one can give me an update on my withdrawal claim. Everyone I speak to, after holding on for 15 minutes mind you, is the same story. Busy processing the claim. Okay yes, but how far along are we??? All they can say is that they're busy processing. Yes I had to unfortunately resign, no ones doing but my own. But can you at least make an effort to give some feedback please other than the same old we're processing singsong. I am very much in need of that money and the waiting time is already ridiculously long. Please please!!!!
