POPI violation!?

I resigned from my previous employer as I relocated to CPT, so I am job hunting and have been applying to Sanlam for jobs that suit my experience/s****s.

However, I have since received a few "we regret to inform you" replies, but YOU see fit to use my information to send me marketing emails, as I have not willingly signed up for it.

N.B. I also find it very weird that I am busy transferring my RA from OM to FNB and now you sending me RA related emails.

This has to be some form of POPI violation and will be doing research as to whether there should be any recourse, as this is not TCF!
