Poor service for Assupol Funeral Policy

My experience with an Assupol funereal policy has not been a good one. First my mother passed away it took two weeks for them to pay out. Then my father has passed away and as the policy was in my mothers name they will not pay out to a private account due to government policy I do understand. Assupol was not willing at first to pay for the cremation process for my father which cost R10 000 and afterwards said they were willing to pay, but it was too late as that was already paid. I had to pay for the memorial flowers which they not willing to pay for and I now have an outstanding account at my church for my fathers memorial service and I do not have money for the service at the moment as I an unemployed at the moment. I worked in the travel industry and as you know the Travel Industry is in a bad way. I really feel that the service I got from Assupol is terrible and inhuman. They have told me that they not willing to pay out to the estate until I get a letter of authority or for proof of my fathers late estate. This process will not have overnight as the executor has stated on my moms late estate and when that is finalized they will then works on my dads estate. No compassion whatsoever!!!!
