Policy lapse without communication

On the 28th of June 2017 I signed a debit order form and was emailed to Assupol, I also received a confirmation of receipt, and I was advised it will be implemented, as far as I am concerned I thought everything was ok as non communication was sent to me, so today I decided to give them a call and find out about my policy and so that they could email me my updated schedule, to my surprise I was told my policy had lapsed on the 27th of July by Tshepisa Mpiwa, she said she will escalate the matter to her manager and will revert back to me, an hour later she gave me a call acknowledging that the fault was from their side, and in order to re-instead my policy I have to pay 6 months premiums, whilst I did not even cancel the policy, non communication was sent to me before the policy was terminated, I have to many debit orders to go through each and every transaction to check who it is and all that, some companies send me their schedule without even asking for it, I am really not impressed by Assupol.
