Policy cancellation

I took your policy on grounds of misinformation. I was informed when I signed up that the benefits of my funeral policy was that I would received all my premiums paid every five years for as long I as the policy holder is alive, which according to policy documents was all a lie and a lure to make me sign up for benefits that aren't there. Secondly, for some unknown reasons, I took a policy for a R20,000 cover at R142 per month but to my surprise I was enrolled for a R30,000 cover at R169 per month, how that was a mistake I do not know. Thirdly I sent an email to info (at) Sanlam [URL Removed] on the 18th of May asking for the policy to be cancelled and I received a reply stating that I should send an affidavit, proof of deductions and copy of ID for investigation, I mean none of this was needed when I signed up for the policy, why is it now a big issue to have the policy cancelled? Especially due to lies that I was subjected to, which made me sign up for the policy? I need the policy cancelled, attempted deductions cancelled and proposed deduction to be also cancelled. I want nothing to do with Sanlam especially after seeing that they are a company that is not to be trusted.
