payout of my husbands life insurance policy

My husband had a life insurance policy with Sanlam and he died on the 14th of May this year of cancer.I filled in the dead claim and send all the forms to sanlam .They contact me about his medical history before he took out the policy which i provide. It is almost 4 months later and i did not heard one word from them after numerous phonecalls. He took out the policy after he got a new job to make sure we were provided for in case something happen to him as i left me job to go study full time.Thank God my studies were finished when he died cause me and my children would have been on the street because of Sanlam.now they are telling me they are waiting for medical reports from Tygerberg hospital and that was 2months ago.Not one email or phonecall after my calls in which i gave them my contact details each and every time.I have all the copies of his medical reports and currently i am considering contacting an attorney .I am fed up with all the stress Sanlam is putting me and my children through.I am in the medical profession and my husband medical reports before he took out he policy show he was in good health i dont know what sanlam is trying to proof but i got the policy and it show that he disclose his full medical history, even that he smoke more than 10 cigarettes per day .I am done with sanlam putting me through so much agony and i will not take this lying down.I will fight for what rightfully belong to my children because a policy is a legal binding contract .
