No settlement letter, no update to credit bureaus

I took a personal loan with Sanlam, my account was handed over to attorneys. I settled the account in October 2021 but there was no update to the credit bureau, it's still showing that I owe Sanlam. I've called Sanlam and their attorneys to no avail. It's almost a year now and it's affecting my credit score although I paid them in full. I did not get a settlement letter either
