no correspondance reagarding my policy
I HAVE ONE QUESTION: why did my father trust Sanlam in the first place.<br> My father, may he RIP, had a dream for me and my younger brother when we were small. that both of us would never be left in need, if he was not with us anymore. he took out a policy at Sanlam for both of us. it was to be a monthly maintenance and a trust fund for myself and my brother. upon my 21st birthday a minimum was paid to me, whereby I could not even go study further and I was at wits end but to find a job to support my mum and brother. im the only breadwinner today. living by simple means. we are not allowed to see any financial statements regarding the policy. at one stage I was told that R700 still gets invested each month for me, but I am not getting nothing at the end of the day. I requested the paperwork, and still up to today was not granted a single page regarding the trust or investments. my brother is now in matric and it is a constant struggle for them to help us, like we are *******. when my brother becomes 21, they will pay us out I was told. so they can say here is r20 for us to share. (ten rand each) what happens to the investment? I need answers. MY DAD TRUSTED SANLAM. where is our money
