Massive Policy Increase

I upgraded my policy and after being with Safrican for many years they increased my contribution by a massive 40%, I wrote to the ombudsman and the insurers says that because of so many claims during covid,they therefore had to increase the policy.My question to them was,what happens should another dreaded desease hit our s****s what will the next increase be.Surely they must have risk insurance invaded like these.I have a policy with Mutual and they never increased it.Pity they won't refund otherwise I would cancel right away.The ombudsman is toothless because they just pass on our communication to each other without making a ruling.My advice to anyone out there thinking of signing up with Safrican,STAY AWAY
