My late husband chose Sanlam as the executor of his estate and as Sanlam is such a big company there is just no place else I can complain, because after three weeks of struggling for them to pay out my children's maintenance, they still cannot manage. Her stationery request is also waiting for more than three weeks to be paid. It's not like it's Sanlam's money, but they seem to have a problem giving my family, what my husband left us. I do realize that Sanlam do benefit from the huge amount of money my husband entrusted into your care for my family. The excuse constantly is a change in system and a lack of staff. Payment was always made on the 26th of every month, I only received payment last month on the 6th of November. Well, this month it's already the 8th of December and after numerous promises and countless hours of holding on and no-one coming back, my kids are still without their money. Does it feel good to keep money that does not even belong to you, away from kids. I do realize, of course, that the longer you hold onto my kids' money, the more you get in revenue. It is awful to know that my kids' money lies in someone else's hands and so does their happiness.
