Legacy beneficiary fund problems again.

I am highly disappointed by Sanlam yet again. I am with the Legacy beneficiary fund and I submitted a claim on the 24th for medical expenses.

I sent in request form and supporting documents ( dated letter and appointment letter from doctor).

On the 4th of July I asked via email if my request was approved. I was asked to send in the dated letter again. I was shocked to know my request hadnt been processed and then I got a response that it will be processed on the same day (4th July).

Today is the 15 th of July and I'm still waiting. I made a appointment for the 16th July 2019 as it was the next available date.

I have to make a cancellation which will amount to R350.

Must this come from my own pocket?

My son is facing medical challenges and its stressful sitting and waiting for a miracle from Sanlam.

I don't want apology calls or anything. I just want to be taken serious. I know your not the ones with a medically challenged child but please have a heart!

Can I just get the cancellation fee sent to me because again I cannot book a appointment unless I pay the fee. Another delay again. I'm sure it will take u weeks to rectify this as well. Who cares though? Its just another sick child right?
