Lack of communication and incompetence

<p>I was in a car accident and decided to nominate Sanlam to handle the trust after the payout. This was in February 2016. The trust was drafted and my lawyers (De Broglio) sent all the required documents. The trust deed was made ( seeing that it was present in court) and in August when the Road Accident Fund finally paid the funds of 500 000 to my lawyers, De Broglio, they called Sanlam to get an account number to transfer the funds. For two weeks we were trying to get hold of Zintle with no success. I called Athi who had been assisting me to help us get hold of Zintle. He got back to us and said she is in hospital and thus we couldn't get hold of her ( still baffled as to why no one took over her work line/ emails whilst she was gone). He proceeded to tell us that the trust deed that had been drafted previously was not accepted by the courts as the founder needed to be the lawyers not him which was Sanlams error. No one got back to my lawyers to ask them for new documents to draft a new one. We had to literally run around trying to get hold of their employees who do not answer their phones or respond to emails. Athi told us that we had to draft a new trust deed last week. Now we have resent all FICA documents ( me and the lawyers) and it deeply annoys me that due to lack of communication and incompetence I have to wait 2-4 weeks for another trust deed which delays me having access to the money for longer. I would like this trust deed to be taken as a matter of urgency and some concrete feedback as to what the delay was initially. Athi is a point of reference as he was the only person we can got hold of eventually.</p>
