Investment payout

I have invested with Assupol for five years. My premium started with R500 which increased yearly and ended up paying R765, my investment was maturing this year and was asked if I would reinvest or opt for payout. I opted for a payout to my surprise I was paid roughly fifteen thousand. After 5 years invested just for a fifteen thousand.
