I had a SADTU policy, underwriter SAFRICAN. I had a family cover, me my ex husband and daughter. In the application form there's no space for live in partner. When my husband died they couldn't pay me. They don't pay if there's a divorce. The policy was taken 6 years after the divorce. Even though his brother made an affidavit Stating we were staying together and I sent reciepts showing my contribution to the funeral.
