I've got an investment with Assapoul and last year I made a partial withdrawal of which I'm not allowed till the next 5 years fair enough ,however I've got a problem if I'm told that even if I cancel the policy I with get my money when maturity date arrives this is ******* as a policy holder I've got a right to surrender the policy since in my policy docume nt surrender value is displayed what type of investment cannot be surrended and I was told at the Branch that the New requirement was circulated this year around Nov clients were not informed by the head office the lady at the Branch was doing her job and she assisted me well . I consulted the insurance omsbud from what I gathered the Company Is not at liberty to keep my money for 5 years even if surrender the policy they must note that Clients surrender policies for emergencies related to finance I trust I will get some remedy from the Company before esce lating the matter to relavant authorities I checked with another Company holding my investment they said I can surrender the policy based on F,S,I,A rules and Insurance Act .
