I haven taken a cover with Royal Funeral Services in 2022. Their underwriter is Safrican. My mother law passed on in April 2022 and she was buried by different funeral undertaker. When I requested Royal to reimburse for the cover that was promised of R30000.00. I was told that my cover was only R3000.00. And with persistent persuasion, I was told it was R22500.00. I was utterly disappointed and unhappy about their illicit way of them doing business. I requested a copy of my policy documents. I was taken aback that my premium was R215.00 and was told it R315.00. Money ****** from me. I requested a policy document with cover amount and was sent a screenshot with a R0.00. I then requested them to cancel my policy and gave them a deadline of the 27th May 2022 to send me the cancellation letter. They failed to do that and on the 30th May2022 , I paid my premiums for June 2022. On the 3 June 2022 at around 4.55 , I received an email from Mr Hoto that my cover was cancelled on the 1st June 2022. I sent them an objection letter that they should cancel my policy on the 30.06.2022 and send me a policy documents with cover amount . To date , I have not received any response from them
