How can you treat your staff (ex staff) like this
Hiding behind the department that needs to respond does not have phonelines. Really? So you want to tell the public sections within Sanlam operates without being able to communicate..... unless that's the excuse for not giving feedback and answers. If you think I am letting this go, you are in for some huge surprizes. I am not the policy holder, I am his sister and I am the one who has to pay his medical aid because you decide to do what ever the hell you want with his supposed income! So still the same: Employed by Sanlam as financial adviser. Declared disabled in August 2023. Sanlam paid the lumpsum (again only one hell of a fight) Income protector policy now suppose to pay out monthly ...... Only to realize that Sanlam commission or HR departments thinks it OK to deduct lapsed policies from the income protector monthly payments. A. If you are declared disabled while working for Sanlam, are you still an employee? B. If you don't pay TAX on this pay out, why can Sanlam deduct what they feel like without any authorization. C. Whilst on sick leave prior to disability finalization no lapsed policies were deducted, with the excuse that they were not allowed to deduct! So on lumpsum pay out an huge amount was due and had to be paid.....so why can you now deduct? D. Changes in cover has now been noted, yet again without any prior communication and or agreement.
You are one of the biggest companies, yet you are pathetic when it comes to communication and feedback on things that leaves questions.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME we are requesting answers, the previous time we received automated feedback that someone will contact us...... no e mail, no phone call, as an matter of fact I have called 5 times and although call centre staff is friendly they cant assist as this is not part of the call centre "scope" Now you leave me no option but to take this matter to social media as well as getting legal involved as you are *****ing from pensioners.
We are sorry to hear that this has not been resolved. We have escalated your complaint to Sanlam Corporate.
