I have a loan at Sanlam which I paid every month, till I ran into some financial problems when my son lost his job and I had to pay his rent and supply them with food and pay for a new born baby' expences. I skipped my montly payment because of this but when my son found new work after about 3 months I made the arrangement that I will pay my monthly installment and if/when I receive my commission to catch up on the arrears. This promise I kept eversince. I receive between 5-8 threatening calls per day, it became so bad that I had to block these numbers on my cell because my Manager complained about all the calls. Then they started phoning me at my work, I explained everytime about my arrangement. My manager gave me 2 verbal warnings about these calls, then I received 2 written warnings and this morning I received a final. The harrassment will not stop and now I am busy losing my work because of this. How do I go about this case? If I loose my work how will they then receive any money? I am sick and tired of the harrassment. The last lady I spoke to is Yulanda and she yelled so much at me that I put the phone down in her ear . My arrears is a very small amount, yet they carry on as if I owe them millions. I have never had such a bad experience with a company that should be very "professional" Their survices stinks and they are utmost unprofessional.
