Greedy Sanlam, Lazy Sanlam, Backwards Barnyard Tactics Sanlam.

Sanlam has - like so many Corporates in South Africa slid backwards over the past years. Premiums go up and up, but service goes down and down. Things that took 1 week in that business to get changed or added, now cannot be done in over a month... Profit has become the only driver, not clients. Big speeches were made about the COVID relief. You just try and get it put into place... Not! Think about it; they can suddenly afford to give you a payment relief... They more than like writing that up to Social Responsibility, firstly and secondly, what you paying in vs what you getting out, leaves Sanlam with such a HUGE profit that they would hardly feel that "relief". I suggest that Policy Holders calculate what they pay on premiums over the extent of the policy lifespan, then take 18-20% growth that Sanlam earns; forget the HUGE exchange rate gains they make, and then see what share of the profits you are actually getting!!!! And you just dare to pay late or miss a premium or ask for COVID Relief... They are so so quick to threaten you with Policy cancellations. Then do yourself another favour and see what they say the cash value of your policy is vs what you paid in... If you do not make a loss, you would be very lucky if you get anywhere near what a bank would give you as interest rate.....
