Gap cover - call centre and website inconsistencies
On Sanlam's website, it clearly states that the cost for individual or family gap cover is R298 - no distinction is made if you are a family or individual. On this basis I phoned them to arrange cover, only to be told that it actually costs R385...? What's the deal guys? Why the bull****? If it costs that, just put it on the site. Additionally, the call centre agent was rude when I asked why there was a difference and informed me that he didn't know why there were different costs, that the website was wrong and that I should just accept that the website was wrong and take the cover anyway...really? Not sure that the consumer protection act would see it quite that way. Come on Sanlam!
