Dear sir/ madam (Sanlam)

My name is Busiswa Mbodlana I write this email with so much fear for my life as I am limited to cover myself because someone else has covered me.

On the 20th of October I approached one of the Sanlam tables at Groote Schuur Hospital to join a life cover. My financial advisor assisted me and the plan is to transfer from Sanlam Sky to Sanlam life so that my premium can be lower. She came back with feedback stating that I cannot cover myself more the R14000 because someone else has covered me with R84000.

How can I go about cancelling that? I have phoned Sanlam they said I should contact my financial advisor and she must contact New Business to cancel which she did but she was not allowed because they say it’s that person’s right to cover me.

I don’t understand why would Sanlam allow that, please help me Sanlam to cancel this because why would I be limited to cover myself but someone else is going to benefit more from my death!

I am frustrated, I am scared for my life and what if that person has already planning to kill me.

Please help me fix this Sanlam.
