Fund withdrwal nightmare from SANLAM!!

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I left my previous employer on the 31 of Jan 2025 and my withdrawal claim was sent and confirmed to Sanlam on the 4th of January. I sent an sms co forming that claim was received by Sanlam but that was the last communication I ever received from them.

I started following up on claim on the 27th of February 2025 because by this time I had received zero communication from Sanlam. On the day that I followed up I was told it was too early to follow up because the 4 weeks working days had not elapsed. I then proceeded to ask how come I had not received at communication from them, I was told I can start asking those questions after 4 weeks of my claim being submitted. I have since made it my personal mission to follow up everyday with Sanlam and every day I'm told my claim is being "escalated" when I ask why it's being escalated I'm tole theh can't see anything on the system. Today I followed up again, and again I'm told my claim is being escalated. The level of incompetence from their agents is appalling!!

Even after my call today, my claim is being escalated. The funds should have been iny account by now. If people are escalating my claim every single day, when am I expected to be receiving my funds into account? I spend almost R200 every single day to call because I'm lucky if the phone is answered within the first 30 minutes of my call.

I'm sent from one *********** agent to another When I asked to speak to a senior staff (more than 2 occasions) I'm told they are in "meetings" and will call me back. No senior personnel or supervisor has ever called me back!!!!

I have exhausted all my options at this point. Sanlam has really made my life miserable and I wonder what kind of business they are running!!
