Failure to comply with my divorce settlement

On the 07 March i called Municipal Gratuity Fund to enquirer about procedure for claim on my divorce settlement, they referred me to Sanlam Employee benefits as the holder of my Ex husband's pension, I was told to email them, the divorce Settlement, Decree of divorce and my Identity, of which i e mailed on the 08 March 2016, got the response back on 14/03/2016 to certify all documents and fill in a Retirement Fund Administration Form, I did so and e mailed back all documents on the same day. i then awaited their response, and they did not respond, i called the number of the person who requested those documents on the 06 April 2016, only to be told that my claim has been turned down, subsequent to that it is then that they bothered to send me a response saying i should seek legal advice, What i don't understand is why did they accept a summons from our Lawyer at first that included copy of our divorce settlement, only to say later that our wording was incorrect, the settlement is clear my 50% from my ex husband pension fund must be paid to me within a period of 3 months after the divorce, now they want me to get a lawyer, pay more money and go to court again, please pay me, my money
