Exorbitant withdrawal charges for RA

I have 2 retirement annuities with Sanlam and need to withdraw from them but i am getting charged R500 fo4 reach withdrawal, which is R1000. I am not happy wirh this as I don't understand why I am being such a high amount for the withdrawals and I believe Sanlam is charging customer *********ly.
