Empty promises
Assupol is unprofessional, my grandmother passed on the 2nd June and we submitted all required documents on the 4 June and we were told to go to police station to do affidavit to tell on who informed us about the death and we did that and submit the affidavit and we were told that they will pay before Friday 7 June, we never received money n when we call them on the 10 June we were told they have been trying to call the person we mentioned on the affidavit to confirm if it's true that she the one who informed us about the death of my grandmother. Today we called again we have been told they are busy with our claim and the funeral was last week Sunday. Their turn around time is 24hours so I don't know if their 24hours is seven days. People be aware of this assupol

13 Jun 2019, 10:07We haven't received money, but calls requesting the documents we have already submitted. I wonder what else are you going to request again. I have never experience this before with other funeral insurances but it was easy for you to deduct premiums from my salary and am sure there will be other deductions at the end of this month. Please stop lying to people that you pay claims within 24 hours. Just tell us that you will have to fight before you get your money.
Imagine if we were relying on that money to finance the funeral costs. I have used my children's money to assist at the funeral now i have to go to loan shark to buy groceries and transport money to go to work and buy airtime to make follow up of my claim.
