DONT USE SANLAM

AND YET AGAIN another scandal from the Sanlam Umbrella Fund with their pathetic service and *****ing from the People who are mourning the loss of loved one and trying to benefit from peoples misery and the loved ones hard earned money.

The intial documnets that was sent to us indicted an X amount of what the lump sum payout will be so enclosed in that letter it stated the below :

The members Share : "X amount" Lump Sum (GLA) : "X amount" Gross Benefit Payable : "X amount"

They then give an X amount what you will be paid out, LESS TAX mind you and then those documents needed to signed and sent through to them to process your pay out.

Now when its time to pay we are being short paid i the region of R***.00? When queried they then send me another gross amount which is now higher than what they intially gave us and then tell me it was cause of the tax. Why would you now increase the amount it is cause they want to claim more tax for their own pockets?

FIRSTLY we were not once ever advised of that and neither did we sign sign for that and all or documents were handed in on time. We should be due what we signed for and not now when its payment time we are being ****** from what we signed for? This is now my second complaint about sanlam umbrellas fund and their service to customers as were made to wait 6 months for payment with all our bills accruing.

SO PLEASE PEOPLE I DO NOT RECOMMEND SANLAM TO ANYBODY. They are ***** and cheats with regard for people.

I tell you now invest with LIBERTY as the company i work for LIBERTY paid them out in 3 months to all parties concerned with no problems.

Look at sanlams overall rating they are all 1 star cause of their poor service and lack of humanity for their clients, who only want pocket from peoples hard earned money.
