Doing Credit Checks without my authorization

On the 23 of November i received a call from Sibongile Mashabela an employee of Sanlam. i was then told that they just wanna do a comparative quote on my car insurance. i was shocked when she didn't even mention that calls are recorded being a financial institute and insurance company i would expect calls to be recorded.<br> <br> On the yesterday at 13:21 i got a message from transunion that a insurance enquiry was done on my credit report.<br> <br> I called in to Sanlam a few hours later spoke to a lady by the name of Lorrett, she said that some calls are not recorded and i was shocked when i heard that she said Sibongile Mashabela was out to see a client<br> <br> After numerous call i made this morning i received a call from Sibongile Mashabela saying she didn't know that they do credit checks after i sent her an email.<br> <br> I would like to Hear from someone in a higher position cause clearly these two don't know what they are doing.<br> <br> i will be taking legal action if i cant be assisted.
