DO NOT MAKE PROMISES

So more than a month has passed. I was promised feedback regarding the actuaries decision regarding the policy and that all monthly payments from August 2021 would be returned since my husband passed away then and I was still paying for the policy. I hope nobody has to deal with a broker who does not inform the client about nominating a beneficiary. I am the policy payer and I have beneficiaries, however, my husband who was a member of the policy did not have any beneficiaries. This policy started more than 2 decades ago and me not knowing much about policies assumed that since I am the payer of the policy, I would automatically be the beneficiary. My husband did not have a will and Sanlam expects me, a 76 year old widow to jump through hoops at the Masters of the High Court because their employee was ***********. If I were informed, I would have nominated beneficiaries for him since I did it for myself.
