Dissatisfaction from Assupol Life.

I would like to warn people not to take a funeral policy with Assupol Life unless they want to be frustrated in their grieving period for their loved one. I have the worst experience with this insurance. I took a funeral policy for my uncle and the death was unnatural. They are supposed to pay me an accidental cover but they had to audit the accidental cover on the day before the funeral and I was not informed about this. I had to phone and enquire about the amount they have paid. I was told then that the other amount was due for an audit. I do not mind an audit but I wish I was told that before signing their contract or at least while I was still paying not at the claim stage. The audit was completed on Wednesday 27th October 2021 but there is still no communication from Assupol to me. I phone them every day to ask about the progress on my claim but there is nothing on their system stating when will they pay my money. I took this policy because I do not want to go around and borrowing money when my loved ones pass on. I trusted this company but now I am receiving this poor service and non-compliance. I did complaint to their complaints and compliance but there is still no feedback. Stay away from insurers that want to frustrate you when you need them the most.
