Dispondent and helpless

In March I was dismissed due to ill health. Prior to this, metropolitan (pension /disability fund) sent me to an OT as well as reviewed my Dr recommendation and granted me the disability status as well as made it possible for my employer to board me.

I was told that my group life would pay me a monthly income. This was only app**** for after my being at home. My employer app**** and Sanlam declined.

I'm already at home due to my disability, now they want to decline.

I now have the OT report and and am patiently waiting for my neurologist ( for months) for a report saying that I'm at home and why.

I am already so damn sick. If only they actually contacted me, they'd know. I can hardly stand anymore, let alone walk. I'm losing weight as well as my hair. I am constantly drowsy and confused. My pain, omg my pain, I would not wish on my worst enemy. I am on fentanyl patches that cost me over R5000 a month and that excludes the other medications.

And to think I used to work for sanlam.
