Disgusting service by SANLAM

I am writing on behalf of my wife.She is a mother of 3.She has her own pediatric business in occupational therapy.In May 2018 we had our little.Unfortunately she had complications during birth and developed sepsis.She was in ICU for over 3 months.She is very lucky to be alive as most people that get abdominal sepsis die. Fortunately my wife is a forward planner and made sure she got income protec due to owing her own practice.She has continually been messed around by Sanlam when it comes to payments. She has not received a payment from them since last year November.The reason she took this insurance out was to have peace of mind that he bills would be paid on a monthly basis if she could not work.In Fact Sanlam has just made her live harder , she is constantly on the phone with them trying to get the payments.They have nothing short of ***********.She was told to have an OT assessment that they paid for , they have received the assessment , but guess what , still have no paid.We are under huge financial stress due to this.At the end of 24 months she should also receive a pay out , as she cannot return to her own occupation after 17 surgeries and and open abdomen for 2 years, only covered by skin. Sanlam you disgust me, best you short this out immediately. For those looking for the same insurance I can definitely say don't use Sanlam.
