Disgusting Customer Service
I am tired of waiting for answers, so I have emailed the Sanlam CEO directly, Mr. Paul Hanratty. Let's see if it makes a difference, I doubt it, as Sanlam Corporate looks after the big fish.

04 Dec 2024, 09:42Good morning. This has been going on since July 2024 when I opened a case of ***** and reported the incorrect annual basic salary declared on the Application For Medical Disability Benefits to Sanlam, as well as the discrepancy on the contributions to my Sanlam Umbrella Provident Fund Contributions made by my previous employer. How long am I expected to wait? It is basic mathematics and a standard scientific calculator is needed to do the calculations.

04 Dec 2024, 21:20With all due respect, you are just trying to mislead the public. Despite having provided all the supporting documentation previously, nothing has changed on the statement and my previous employer still hasn't rectified the incorrect contributions. Must I wait another 6 months!

05 Dec 2024, 08:59Sorry, but the consultant has been involved all along and nothing has changed. He did phone me last night and I was not happy with the resolution. I am currently preparing the detailed story with supporting documents to send to the media. I have waited more than 5 months and now this has to stop!

10 Dec 2024, 12:45So the Salam CEO has shown his true colors. The Corporate Customer, Cut-N-Weld gets preferential treatment. They declare false information and basic salary as well as pay over the incorrect monthly contributions to the Sanlam Umbrella Provident Fund, and all you get told it is a labour matter and sort it out yourself. I have lost over R 1m because of Sanlams *********** attitude.

10 Dec 2024, 13:04Sanlam Corporate has already made a decision, despite the PFA ruling. I will appeal and publish the letter in the media, as well as reporting my previous employer to the Department of Labour, as well as take Sanlam and Cut-N-Weld to Civil Court.
