Disgusted

Death itself is very hard. Then having people making the processes difficult... Makes is a nightmare... My mum passed 27 June 2020. She and my dad married in community of property had a joint will with above mentioned drawn up in 2000. So we talking about 20 years. We.. My dad and I went to the offices to go attend to the matters ( which we not fami**** with.. Told there they could not find the will on record or in the vault in cape Town.. The lady said she would try and again then they will get back to me.. She advised me they cannot find the will so we can go to the Masters and sort the estate ourselves as it would any way cost us a lot of money... At the Masters we were advised we need A renunciation letter from Sanlam. After a back and forth asking for this letter from head office I was asked to send the will we had and declare my mums assets... Very funny and fishy... The last person I spoke to... I told I would declare the assets if they could produce the will.. Which I knew they could not they wanted our copy...to do their job.. The lady screamed at me when I said I won't she said I must then do just what I want. I have since seen an attorney.. She asked for this letter.. They responded that they would send the letter... 3-4 months later we still waiting... I'm disgusted.. Utterly disgusted. We can't grieve in peace cause we have a huge load caused by Sanlam.. I promise that I would reach out to every social platform... in process with a ombudsman... Won't leave this matter like this
