Disgracefully, Unacceptable and Unprofessional Service from Sanlam

Good Day

If I could only give them zero stars that would not even do justice to the poor service me and my husband received from Sanlam.

They send us the completed documents for a policy that was due to pay out in January 2022 that we had with them, including the amount that they filled in on the documents that we were supposed to get according to them. My husband was just supposed to sign the documents and send them back and then we were supposed to get pay out of that amount after 10 working days. They took longer than the 10 working days to do the pay out. They did not give us any feedback on what is going on and what the reason for that is. We had to send emails and phone them to find out what is going on. After numerous emails and phone calls they tell us they made a mistake with the amount on the documents they are still trying to figure out what went wrong and they escalated the matter to their Manager. After more emails and phone calls and more days went by all of a sudden they tell us we must get hugely less amount than what the documents my husband signed for said and which by the way they sent to us already completed by them and they made the mistake now we must just accept that lesser amount according to what they said on phone calls and emails of which they cannot give us any proof as to why it must suddenly be less and just because they made a mistake. And they also corresponded to an unknown and unauthorized email address/3rd party which we do not know whom it is with our personal information about our policy information.

That is totally unacceptable.

Me and my husband is totally disgraced by the complete and utter unprofessional service we have received from Sanlam.
