<p>Good day</p> <p>On the 11th of May 2016 I received a call from on of your consultants, Thabang Ditholo, he was trying to sell me life cover. This call waisted 15 to 30 munites of my time, until he asked me about my HIV status, which I told him that I am positive. Then, he told me that I can not be isured by Sanlam....I do not have a problem with that as he was following a script, however, my issue is, AFTER TALKING TO ME FOR THAT LONG THEN YOU TELL ME THAT I CAN NOT BE COVERED BECAUSE OF MY HIV STATUS!!! THAT WAS VERY UNPROFESSINAL AND IT MADE ME FEEL DISCRIMINATED. Please listen to my phone call and you will know exactly what I mean. Rathe ask my status at the begining of the phonecall or read it as part of your terms and conditions at the begining of the call so that we do not waste one another's time.</p> <p>The call took place on the 11/05/2016 around 11:30 from Thabang Ditholo to ***. Please change you script Sanlam!!!!</p>

02 Jun 2016, 10:20I refer to our telephone conversations of earlier today. As mentioned, it does not seem that Thabang is part of Sanlam, and we apologise again for the unwelcome intervention you felt when he made contact. As confirmed to you, Sanlam do provide life cover to HIV positive client.
