Disappointed and dissatisfied
A claim was made on the 9th of December 2014 and I was told to wait 10-15 working days. 21 days later, on the 12th of January 2015, I called only to be told that Sanlam needs a missing form - BI-1663 (pg 2 & 3) that provides medical info from the doctor. I made it clear that I didn't get it as the hospital doesn't give them out anymore.

On the 19th of January 2015, I called Sanlam again only to be told that Sanlam hasn't received the medical information of which then Sanlam specified that they need it from the regular family doctor. I asked for those forms to be faxed to me of which I took to the Dr on the very same day to fill them and return them to Sanlam.

On the 28th of January I called again to find out if finally we'll get what's due. But as usual, I was ill-treated by Sanlam staff members again (consultant over the phone)

*the 1st consultant told me the Dr wrote the deceased's name where he was supposed to write his (Drs) and hung up in my ear without a clear explanation
*the 2nd consultant was not rude and said the mistake by the Dr wasn't that bad and she will take the claim through to management.

Yesterday again I was promised to be called today but nothing.
