Delays in payment of Pension fund
Im an ex employee of Sanlam. The company will list an active staff on ITC while employed and earning till today I dont understand why I had been listed when they could easily recovered their monies owed by me if any from my monthly earnings on my payslip. I resigned after finding out that I was listed by the company without my knowledge. My resignation was approved on 2024/07/02 a .I then completed the withdrawal claim forms on 2024/07/11, the completed forms was emailed by the Administrator to the relevant person (Ernest Ntaba) who is delegated to assist us with claims on pension. The person will not answer his phone nor reply to emails even at the office he is hardly there. He is working from home most of the time but fails to respond to queries. After a month of submitting the claim form I resumed querying on process. I need to follow up on payment due to me, he is never available to respond to office calls, cell phone calls and emails. He lies and says he will email the office Administrator and when I go to the Administrator she has not received any communication and has no knowledge on the matter. She will try and call him on Teams in my presence and he just don't answer calls deliberately. There is no communication, it's just silence. The company really needs to look into our frustrations as many of us are suffering in his hands . The delays caused by the non processing of the forms to the fund is serious and is delaying payment due to the exiting employee has become stressful that most exited staff has endured. It's nearly 3 months of waiting i can mention names of people I have spoken to without much assistance on resolving my payout.
