DECOMMISSION LAMSAK
I took out a retirement annuity at SANLAM more than 20 years ago in support of my employer retirement plan. the plan was to received the money at 55 which i could reinvest. the "independent" agent indicated in his "scientific "forecast that the amount will be about R340 K. Now SANLAM indicate its only over R188 K as they say the due to the performance of the rand.
they also change it to a new policy because I did not respond in 30 days. Are they getting new commission? Is there a regulatory body in SA where I can complain to as I think I only got my contributions back.
I need my R340 K

The only thing anyone should ever buy from these companies are death insurance. At least when they rob you it does not matter to you

That is not how it was sold to me. This is hiding behind legalese to rob your customers. We trust these big companies with their suave salepeople that receives a commission of your payments per month for years on end and then does not support you when its payout time. Even has the gall to ask to enagge LAMSAK on your behalf so to get more commission from you
