Data Factory and Sanlam - do not work well together.
Recieved an sms that the data factory was looking to get in contact with me in terms of a claim that needs to be paid by Sanlam from my previous company. I contact them and completed all the forms and had to send all my documents. Then the games begin: 30/08 - sent all forms, recieved confirmation email from Data factory documents recieved and told it takes 3 days. 31/08 - recieved an email from Data Factory that they havent recieved documents 01/09 - resent all the documents, recieved an other confrimation email that documents recieved. 05/09 (08:48am) - recieved sms that the forms are not complete and i need to call the data factory 05/09 (09:00am) recieved email stating that I didnt complete my tax number (it is completed on the forms and i sumbitted a letter from SARS) 05/09 (09:04) - I called the Data Factory and the agents I spoke to told me that I shouldnt have recieved the sms and the emails as she can see that both email were infact recieved and they have sent through to sanlam to process. was given Sanlam number and Ref number. 05/09 (09.20) I called Sanlam and I got NO help at all. I was told that Sanlam doesnt have my documents from Data Factory, None of my details can be checked because Sanlam doesnt have my documents. The agent at Sanlam couldnt even confirm when the documents would be recieved or what the process is. she couldnt give me any timelines as to when I can expect anything.. I am shocked that a company like Sanlam cant help at all. all I was told is that my claim would take 3 months to process! I asked how much the claim waas, was told she cant give me that information.. PLEASE can someone tell me what is going on. Data Factory is saying two diferent things so now I dont know if my forms are ok or not and Sanlam is not helpful at all! and then Sanlam has the nerve to offer my girlfriend a loan? Do you think after this experience we would want to do business with Sanlam? I am tired of calling up and down. I want to know whats going on.
