My sister passed last year November leaving her children in my care. She had listed me a beneficiary for her death claim benefit which is with your company. In January I had submitted the documentation that I had received from her company and to date almost another year later I have NOT received the funds. I am being told that the funds are being withheld due to the fact that I cannot access my sisters divorce decree. My sister's EX husband passed many moons ago and her death certificate clearly states that she was divorced and even though I've furnished them with this information still no money is being released. I'm left to pick up the pieces on my own and now have to care for 2 of her kids one who is a minor in school with no extra income from anywhere. I have recently gotten assistance from an attorney who also tried to obtain this divorce decree and was told that the high court does not keeps records for longer than 3 years which clearly means that there is no way of me getting this piece of paper that your company so desperately need. Does this mean that now my late sisters kids must suffer due to the fact that you clearly are aware of this and just choose to ignore that fact because you simply want to keep money that is rightfully theirs to yourselves?
