Claim

Hello Peter we lost our cousin on the 10th October 2024 and out in a claim on the 16/16th of October 2024 at Sanlam and they told me they wanted an inquest docket. We then went to Detective Keegan Van de Berg who was in charge of the case on February 2025 and he told us the docket will be out within six weeks we went after that and he didn’t show interest in hearing us out and went again months later and since then we’ve been waiting for the clearance letter and the inquest docket so we then took matters into our hands and went to the Lieutenant to ask the other detectives to plead with their colleague to release the documents, we’ve been waiting since then with no luck , funny thing is that whenever other people want the letter he does it for them but when it’s us there’s always stories. The main concern is that we had to take a loan for the funeral since the insurance wasn’t paying out now we’re in debt and in need of the money
