Cancelled policy without my knowlegde

Since from 2018 i had a policy that covered both my parents in law. Unfortunately in june 2023 my father-in-law passed on and now the policy is not active anymore without my knowledge. I went to the agent in Botshabelo to try and resolve the matter to no avail. Soo i went to the offices in Bloemfontein but till now nothing has been resolved as i still wanna continue with the policy. I'm really worried that should anything happen to my mom in law what am i gonna do. Soo please guys resolve this matter urgently
