Cancellation of policy and no payout

I open a endowment policy in 25/06/2012 through the telephone route. I inform them that i want to surrender my and their indicated that i need to provide ID, Bank statement and proof of resident which i send. Their now say my signature is different to the one their have on their record (but i app**** telephonic). They are say know that their will get back to me after 3 days' time which i don't understand as i need my money urgently.
