ATTENTION SANLAM!!!!!!

Hi, my name is Marisa.

Almost a year to date and I am still waiting for my mom's death claim to be paid out. I have many policies/retirement annuities with Sanlam. They were always extremely prompt when it came to requesting payment on time which come hell or high water I made sure I paid.

I have been struggling, crying and have pleaded for assistance. I am unemployed at the moment and have had to rely on the kindness of others. I have loaned money from them to phone head office on countless occasions and ask people for lifts to fetch and pay for the various docs/certificates Sanlam has asked for and is still asking for. Just when they say it's the last, it's not. No phone calls or emails telling me what is going on and keeping me informed as to what's happening with my money or what is further required, I have to phone after them.

With regards to my dad's life insurance policy that I am still struggling to get reinstated, after years of paying an exorbitant amount for... it has been a difficult few years for many, including myself. I even managed to keep up payments during Covid, which was not an easy task.

It seems my father Francois and I are just a numbers and so was my mother Rosetta!

Don't forget who and what made you Sanlam....

At this present moment I sorely regret my decision to put my trust and hard earned money in Sanlams hands to provide for my and my child's future. I am truley devastated!
