Hi My granny,Nowinile Hilda Qalinge ,ID No: *** 08 7 passed away on the 20th of July 2020,and according to our knowledge my mother Kholiso Irene Qalinge ID No: *** 08 3 had her covered with Assupol Life. But when we tried to process the claim in which we were promised R15 000 if one of the members covered in the policy dies, they told us that our grandmother was not covered,and they told us different stories first was that according to them she was the beneficiary and when we explained that our granny was 97 years old they changed the story to that they made an agreement with her to withdraw her contributions through SASSA of which did not make sense since we also explained that our granny at 97 years couldn't even write an affidavit and we asked the name of the person who assisted our granny and the consultant and they refused to give us the name of the person who assisted our granny and what is even more confusing our granny was still getting her monthly grant of R 1 800.00 in full. Up until today we have not been paid and no explanation as to why our claim was not processed and I had to make other arrangements to make sure that we bury our granny in peace.I see this as a breach of agreement and I would like Hellopeter to assist me to get to the bottom of this matter and also dig of any *******ion taking place in these Insurance schemes.
