Assupol life

A policy was taken out under my name without my consent by this company . When I confronted their department with regards to this policy, the tone of their representative’s response was that of malice and insinuating that me and/or my mother were acting **********ly.

The information on the aforementioned policy is factually incorrect and the signature on the signed documents is not mine and has been clearly manipulated.

Despite my attempts to reach out to their company and have this matter resolved they have failed to provide a response and continue to debit my mothers account for an additional charges which she did not sign up for.

As per the consumer protection act they have infringed on my mother's right and they have also failed to take accountability.

I then informed them that I would like this additional policy to be canceled and a full refund/credit be issued to my mothers account for the amounts deducted over the period. I also requested that a formal inquest be done to the salesperson responsible for generating this policy. Lastly, I asked their marketing, sales and general enquirers department to stop calling my mother to verbally harass her with unclaimed threats.

I forwarded everything to their complaints department which to me turned out to be a **** as I got no assistance, I then went to ombudsman where I got response from someone Assupol's Forensics department. Long story short my case was dismissed due to the following: My mother did sign up for the policy. 2. My mother called me to give her consent to take the policy under my name(there is no recording to prove that and most of the information on the application form is incorrect) but they took the sales consultant word.

For me this was never about money, it was about principle, the company has done this to so many people and has gotten away with it. The sales consultants and branch managers have manipulated the elderly to reach their targets, knowing very well that they can fabricate lies and all their departments can manipulate the findings, is really sad. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
